With a monitored alarm system, every time your alarm is activated a signal is sent to a central monitoring station. On receipt of the signal, the monitoring station rings the relevant authority. The monitoring station will also contact you to advise you of the situation. If you are unavailable they will contact your key holders (people close to you who have a set of keys and know the alarm code). If required, they will also advise our on call engineer.
