Wireless Intercoms  are a good reliable option and have a number of advantages compared to hardwired versions.

Advantages

• Minimal service trench/ducting
• No internal routing of cables
• Standalone re-chargeable cordless phone set(s) in the house
• Mobility around house and garden

Disadvantages

• May not be suitable if there is a lot of trees/buildings between gate/house
• May not be suitable on old iron stone dwellings or dwellings with very thick walls

The signal range should be checked to ensure suitability with your property. If the tests are successful, you will get reliable use from a wireless intercom.
